Start small, wait a moment
If you do not know how strong something is, first take one small puff. Then wait 1 to 2 minutes to see how it affects you before you go on. That way you can stop as soon as you notice it is enough.
Drug, set and setting
How you feel after use differs from person to person, but drug, set and setting have the greatest influence. Drug is how much you use, how strong it is and whether alcohol, other drugs or medicines are involved. Set is how you feel at that moment and setting is the place where you are.
Only when you feel good in yourself
Only use when you feel good in yourself. If you do not feel good, you are more likely to have an unpleasant experience. Use for pleasure, not to forget your problems, and choose surroundings where you feel at ease.
No tobacco with it
Do not put tobacco in a joint: smoking tobacco is very harmful to your health and you quickly become addicted to it. Vaporising with a vaporiser is less harmful. Another option is a tobacco substitute without nicotine.
How long it lasts
When you smoke or vaporise, the effects start within a few seconds to minutes. When you smoke or vaporise, the effects usually last 3 to 6 hours. After that time you are not yet sober enough to drive a car safely.
Not at school or at work
Do not use at school, while studying or at work. If you really need your brain, for example for an exam, do not use for at least two days beforehand. Otherwise your concentration and your memory suffer.
